Well Well...

7/29/09 by Alien1344

I'll try make this post brief. Basically all is well in the land that I appear to be living in. People co-operating, much improvement since my last post from my own experience, life is pretty much all good. There is one tiny problem, more or less a nagging 'issue' that is puzzling me... I wish for someone (preferably a programmer) to give me the answer to it if they can find the adequate solution that they see fit. Here goes:

The paradoxical game, Timeshift, really has me quite baffled. Anyone that has played this game will know it includes a suit which can distort time to its whim on the commands of the user (player). This includes slowing time down, stopping it and rewinding it. Focusing on the rewinding part, it rewinds everything apart from the player... This is where the paradox lies in my opinion. If a person was to rewind time and everything but the suit was effected then everything seems fine until the user edits the time line they just saw causing an alternate outcome and potentially completely altering the future. Now this paradox is indulging upon the Chaos Theory (a film named the butterfly effect thoroughly shows the chaos theory in action) where a small change produces huge differences in an outcome. Therefore this game is very linear for such a complex and compelling array of time and matter.
My question is... If technology has advanced so much in the past 20 years, why are we unable to come up with a game dynamic enough to encompass a wider range of possibilities? Dues ex was the only game I know of that really took into account every action with a possible 3 (maybe 4) endings. Now I understand the limits of programming, but if the programming could work out the new variables with the set data it is limited to (I realise this is A.I) and create the necessary supplements of the alternate outcome, surely a more dynamic game would come? Constructive criticism please.

Look at the world we live in. Abstract mixing with concrete. Juxtapositions, oxymorons and contradictions. A ticking clock that forever takes; gives; has got; has not got; on the move and does not even exist. Facts that will one day be lost knowledge. Logic that will exist forever. Justice is another abstract ideologism that us humans crave must be correct to restore a balance to the universe when balance is also abstract. We live in a world where we create the rules and we get people to believe them, if enough people believe then it becomes factual, if not then it's opinionated whether right or wrong. Signifier of symbols that i use right now so you can understand all these words and ideas. A truly fascinating world we live. What must one protagonist do to view it in a way that is impartial. What one must do to have someone feel empathy rather than becoming controvert and taciturn to the idea i express.

Martin Luther King said I have a dream. His dream was based on justice. Well if he can have a dream then so can I. I have a dream that we all realise the true issue is the fact that when we don't get along is when things go wrong.
We use approximately under 10% of our true potential brain (according to myth yet myth is opinionated and although research may have us believe it is not true i personally believe it is so i shall state it in my post. Also think about it, scientists can study what they have seen on the brain activity waves however they can not predict someone being able to use so much more. See the boy with an amazing brain on a video if you like and explain if we are all using the same amount of brain power how that is possible).
How much could we uncover if we worked together? Einstein needed to learn before he could share his own creativity with the world. We can learn through one another and help each other but sometimes i just see us arguing, having discord, and being disdained to each other because of something that psychologists have named ego.

I am forever in a quandary of what to believe and how to handle a situation. My volition is, most of the time, handled incorrectly. Pragmatics would have you believe i am quite a smart person by my lexical choice of vocabulary. My verbose astute phrases and clauses might have you see i am a linguistic person rather than an astute person and may be so far as to say i am probably superficial. To be honest, i don't mind how you judge me, i just felt like creating an erudite topic.

Imperator (funnily enough probably a morphology of imperative) wants to see more profound astuteness amongst Newgrounds. I recon it can happen if people begin to agree with one another rather than argue or create semantic discord. Lets call it an imperative ;).

I shall leave you to ponder my text. Feel free to drop a comment, just please, make it constructive.

Well since i don't have any fans (awwwwwwh) i'll just speak my mind shall i?
If anyone has a degree in English Language i wanna meet you!
>insert first parenthesis here<meet as in talk to, not meet in real life.>insert second parenthesis here<
If anyone has degree in linguistics i definitely want to meet you!
If anyone has past a degree in linguistics/language (masters, Ph.d) then please drop me a line or add me to MSN!!!

I love talking about English language/lingustics as it allows me to:
a) use my knowledge so therefore reinforce it so it is rehearsed and it does not decay out of my long term memory
b) learn new knowledge to help either academically or socially withing my life
c) discuss all relations about words and the coherent nature of language texts.

My erratic vexation of text:
'Voila. In view an intricate, piquant, protagonist (to ones self), who seems to always be in quandary but repudiates the vexation that this creates. An unceremonius character may 'stand' before you at times but usually a complaisant being whos profound; astuted and meticulous knowledge is a mere anomalous phenomenon that usually occurs when someone becomes controvert. An adequate plethora of vocabulary is always present even though eloquence may not be however it is also sometimes not necessary. Nondescript and superficialness may be seen however it should always be highly laudable for a jubilant attempt of vexing people with language. Spontaneous texts are usually present but never the less are also usually wrought in some way. Paralogisms are sometimes created but must be exonerated as everyone creates them sometimes. Exuberant fervor for English Language, sometimes pedantic about it, can also be tantalizing and erratic. Verily this verbiage veers verbose for most so let me simply add that it my very good honour to meet you and you may call me Ali.'

V's erratic vexation of text:
"Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin van-guarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it's my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V."
